The Vantage Pro 2 offers the professional weather observer and the serious weather enthusiast reliable performance and a wide range of options and sensors. The cabled Vantage Pro2 weather station includes as standard:

• integrated sensor suite
• mounting hardware
• AC-power adapter

The Integrated sensor suite (ISS) includes a rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors, anemometer, and a 40' (12 m) anemometer cable. Temperature and humidity sensors are enclosed in the standard radiation shield. Transfer of data between the ISS and console is by wireless transmission. Power for ISS is by a built-in lithium battery supplemented by a small solar panel.

Wireless range is up to 1000' (300 m) outdoors, line of sight. Typical range through walls under most conditions is 200' to 400' (60 to 120 m). Wireless repeaters can be added for distances up to 1.7 miles (2.7 km).

Among the parameters you can measure are wind speed & direction, air temperature & humidity, pressure, rainfall, and numerous derived readings such as wind chill, dew point etc. Full details of the parameter values and additional graphic and text elements that can be displayed on the The Vantage Pro 2 console are provided on the 'VP2 console display layout and functions' page at our Main Site.

The Weatherlink data logger and software included in this bundle contains all you need to link a Davis weather station to a computer (Windows PC or Mac) and to be able to store, view and analyse all your weather data and to upload your latest data automatically to a website.
