This is a replacement 10F supercapacitor for use on ageing VP2 wireless transmitter boards where the original supercap may have started to leak. It is not suitable for use with Vantage Vue stations.
Please note that replacing this item is reasonably straightforward but does require both careful handling and careful soldering. You do need some basic electronic soldering skills to carry out this replacement successfully.
Note also that replacing the supercap is not guaranteed to cure short ISS battery life and related issues - the failing supercap may have caused other consequential faults in the circuitry.
