This sensor is generally used in industrial projects where high accuracy is necessary. It's perfect for professional use in cold rooms, and freezers, as well as for projects related to agriculture, livestock, construction, weather, etc indoors and outdoors.

The reliable and robust temperature sensor is compatible with Reporter, our sensor module for remote monitoring. Reporter connects to the internet through the cellular data network (2G/4G) and streams its live data to the cloud in real-time.

Using this digital sensor for automatic temperature logging helps to eliminate manual paperwork as you can download Reporter's historical data from the cloud. These historical temperature logs are available for download as CSV file that you can open in Excel to print or send to whoever needs them.

Crodeon Cloud

The Crodeon Dashboard is our user-friendly and intuitive cloud platform. Downloading custom software is not needed as this web application runs in your browser of choice. All live and historical data is accessible 24/7 and settings like measurement intervals can be adjusted here.

Reporter also comes with an alarm functionality that can be fully customised to your personal preferences. Set your own alarm thresholds, choose how to receive an alarm (text message or voice call to your phone, or email) and adjust waiting times if needed.

Temperature sensor with API

Every Reporter comes with an API that allows for smooth data integration from the Dashboard to third-party software. This seamless connection lets you easily have all your data in one organised platform. This allows you to automate other processes based on your temperature logs.

Where to use the temperature sensor

This temperature sensor is perfectly suited for use in industrial systems, agricultural environments and refrigeration related projects where temperature monitoring is needed. The sensor comes with an accuracy of 0.5°C from -10°C to +80°C, a resolution of 0.1°C, and can operate in an environment of -55°C to +80°C. The accuracy can be improved further through manual calibration via the Crodeon Dashboard. The factory calibration of the DS18B20 is guaranteed for life; there is no need for re-calibration.

This digital temperature sensor is waterproof, making it perfect for indoor and outdoor use. The sensor has an attached cable of 5m but can be extended with sensor extension cables up to 30 m.
