The KTA-382 Modbus gateway enables easy connection of a PLC, RTU, or SCADA system by Modbus RTU or TCP to one of the following Davis weather stations:
- Cabled Vantage Pro 2
- Cabled Vantage Pro 2 Plus
- Wireless Vantage Pro 2
- Wireless Vantage Pro 2 Plus
The gateway connects to the weather station's console via the Davis WeatherLink cable (Weather Link for Vantage Pro Serial Logger) and becomes part of the Modbus network as a Modbus TCP/IP or RTU slave. This enables your SCADA system or other Modbus devices on the network to monitor and take action based on data such as wind speed, wind direction, temperature, and more.

- 2 x Alarm Outputs (Open Collector Outputs)
- Protocol:
- Modbus TCP/IP network via Ethernet. Can be polled by up to multiple Modbus masters simultaneously.
- Modbus RTU over RS-485 can be pulled on Two independent serial ports.
- Provides a webpage and PC application, whereby TCP and RTU settings can be easily configured. Also shows current settings, weather data, and communications statuses
- This provides an additional 436 bytes of High/Low historical and current data.
- Dimensions: 115L × 90W × 40H (mm)
- Can be screwed to a panel, or DIN rail mounted.
