Ordering and Delivery Details
We aim to process all orders promptly and within a maximum of one working day of receipt. We carry stock of all items listed on our shop and there should rarely be any delay in fulfilling orders. But occasionally new stock may be in transit to us or on back-order from the factory and in this event we will advise you of the delay as soon as possible and of the expected delivery date. If you need a particular item urgently you may wish to contact us to confirm availability.
Smaller orders (up to 2kg in weight) will usually be despatched via Royal Mail. Heavier and physically larger orders will be sent via a good courier service.
Standard delivery is a service that may take up to 3-5 days from despatch.
Expedited delivery to most UK mainland addresses will take 1-2 working days – often the next working day – from despatch, although delivery to remote addresses (e.g. certain locations in the Scottish Highlands and Islands) may occasionally take up to 3 days. We can supply a tracking number for all orders with expedited delivery.
Please note that all packages require a signature on delivery. If no-one is in when delivery is attempted then a card will be left and you will need to contact the delivery agency to arrange redelivery or to pick up the package from their depot. If you require delivery on a certain weekday, please contact us by e-mail and we will do our best to arrange this, if specifically requested. However, as the exact local delivery arrangements are outside of our control, we cannot provide an absolute guarantee that delivery will take place on the day requested.
Saturday and Guaranteed Timed deliveries can be arranged by special request, but note that courier services usually make a significant charge for such services, which we will have to pass on. Please tell us if you require this service. Other than by use of a Guaranteed Time delivery service, the likely time of delivery is outside of our control and may typically be at any time from 0900 to 1700.
If at all possible we need to be advised of a phone number at the delivery address in case of delivery problems.
It is possible for customers to collect orders in person from our Littleport sales office, but please only do so by prior arrangement i.e. phone/email us first. We cannot offer any guarantee that anyone will necessarily be available to meet you unless you have a prior appointment.
